Meet Dr. Omar Salem
Through his dental career, externships, and participation in dental organizations, Dr. Salem has been exposed to all areas of dentistry.
He attended many continuing dental education courses and has become a certified Invisalign and Solea laser provider. Dr. Salem is diligent in his pursuit to stay current in providing the profession’s leading dental care procedures.
Education & Experience
Dr. Omar Salem was born and raised in Michigan, where he graduated from Oakland University with a degree in Health Sciences. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he was the lead assistant at Barclay Dental.
He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree as a top graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. During his time there, he volunteered with the Detroit Mercy Outreach and Community Service organization providing dental care to the underserved.
As an active dentist in the dental community, he is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Dental Association.
Patient care is of utmost importance to Dr. Salem, he is very understanding and determined to provide the most comfortable and painless dental experience. For his patients, no detail is too small for his attention.

Another part of that dedication is Dr. Salem's care in each office. TVs are installed in every room so that you can keep up with your favorite comfort shows during your time with us. When it comes to treatment, we only use clear, filtered water, free from any weird tastes or chemicals for your rinses.
Once you've wrapped up your procedure, expect a call the evening after, as Dr. Salem checks in to make sure you're comfortable and recovering well. It's the personal touch that matters to him.
Outside of the Office
In his time away from dentistry, he loves to spend time with his family, play soccer competitively, and take hikes in nature. He is an active member of his community and volunteers his time mentoring youth.
